You will be bounded with close sceneries from Chomolhari Base Camp trek to the Bhutan’s massive peaks.

In the summer season, this Chhomolhari trekking starting from (Drugyal Dzong) paro and end at Dodena near Thimpu. The trail crosses throughout two different high passes from Jangothang. Jumolhari Mountain (7314m)  from Jangothang looks stunning. The trek is strenuous and popular trek in Bhutan which leads you the 4115m as a highest point.

Chomolhari Trekking- Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Paro by Druk Air

Day 02: Hiking to Taktsang monastery
Day 03: Drive to Drugyel Dzong and trek to Shana Camp.
Day 04: Trek from Shana to Soi Thangthangkha
Day 05: Trek from Soi to Jangothang.
Day 06: A rest day at Jangothang.
Day 07: Trek from Jangothang to Lingshi.
Day 08: Trek from Lingshi to Shodu.
Day 09: Trek from Shodu to Barshong
Day 10: Trek from Barshong to Dodina and drive to Thimphu.
Day 11: Sightseeing in Thimphu and drive to Paro
Day 12: Transfer to airport for departure.

Air Travel

You are kindly request to check with us before obtaining your airline tickets to make sure the trip has the compulsory minimum number of participant required to organize  

Solo Traveler

If you are making this trip alone and specially ask for single accommodation than you will be asked to pay the supplement charge. If you feel Ok to share rooms, we will manage roommate if it is available. We are pleased to advice you that there are a limited number of single rooms available.

Paro and Thimphu are both at about 8,000’. During the day time temperatures range from 65-70 degree, Evening is 55 to 60. During the trek, in the highest camping location is 13,700’ and our highest point is a 16,040’ pass. At the daytime temperatures of 45 degree F are usual. Night time normally freezing, Bhutan’s weather around the mountains can be quite changeable and also will have possibility of snow at higher altitudes. Evening temperatures may go down until 20s during cloudy or snowy conditions.
