How you have to be prepared before you trek in Nepal? What problems may happen during Nepal trekking? Do I need previous hiking before trek in Nepal?
If you are in a good physical condition, you do not need any hiking or walking experience for short treks. However, but  if you wants trek longer then week, some physical fitness programs such as walking, hiking and normal physical work are recommended before your trek in Nepal.

Who will pick up me from kathmandu airport on my arrival?
Our company staff will pick up you on your arrival and transfer to you at hotel and gives you details trip briefing to make you clear about your trekking and tour in Nepal.

What happens if I have to cancel my trip after I made payment?
We understand your problems, if you cancelled your trip before one month you will get full refund. When we started booking for you at that case there will be taken minimum cancellation charge.

What equipment should I bring?
It depends  what type of trekking you are doing in Nepal Himalayas. However we prefer you to bring bellow mentioned equipment whiles you doing trek in Nepal. Advised equipment by us are as fallows:-

What means tea house trek?
Teahouse trekking is guided walking trip and very famous in the developed trekking regions such as Annapurna, Everest and Langtang – Helambu, where varities of western foods and as well as Nepalese food (Dalbhat) are available. Accommodation will be in good, clean and safe rooms of hotels, guest houses and lodges.

How to know about Camping trek?
The camping trek supported by guides, cooks, sherpas and porters of company. All needed porters will be carrying all the tents, chairs, foods, sleeping mattress, pots, your languages, tables etc.... Our experienced cook prepares all meals during the trek... At night, tents for dining, sleeping and ablutions tents are provided and set up.

 In a organized trek, we start the day around 6 a.m. with a cup of hot tea. You are then provided with a bowl of warm water for washing. Then trekkers enjoy breakfast before leaving camp. The trek begins around 7.30 - 8 a.m.

Trekkers can set their pace for pausing and sightseeing and the walk to the lunch spot will normally take 3 hours. On arrival, you will have lunch in open sky if not rain. After walking for another 3 to 4 hours, you arrive at the next camp around 5 p.m. where you sleep. Tea & snacks are served while our staff readies the camp. Dinner time is around 6/7 p.m. in the dining tent, lit with lanterns and comfortably furnished. The food is healthy, wholesome and hygienically prepared.

Is a Trekking permit required?
Conservation permit or National park permits are required for trekking regions in Nepal. There are few restricted trekking areas in Nepal, where trekking permits are required. Please visit our web site page that related your trekking regions.

What is the altitude sickness and what happens if I get sick in mountains?
Altitude sickness is caused by the high elevation. The symptoms like headache, vomiting, and week felling are the caused of altitude sickness.  The most important thing is DON’T PANIC. You always insure that you have well warm cloths. Our guide will have normal medical kid box service as he is trained. Walk high and sleep in low, Drink at least 2 liters clean water, soups, and make small evening hike every day after you get hotel. In case if you are not well we will provide you helicopter evacuation service which will be paid by your insurance company.

How long have you been in business?
We have been running this company since 2009 but we have over decade experience in Nepal tourism, we started as porter, guide and finally running this company. 

Does Adventure Discovery Treks accept credit cards?
Yes we accept visa and master card. Another way of your advanced booking system would be the bank transfer too. But paying by above costs you 3.5% extra as bank charge. So we prefer you to pay by travelers check or cash when you arrive in Nepal.

What is the weight allowed in domestic flights in Nepal?
Until 20kg is allowed to take with you in domestic flight in Nepal how ever by paying some extra you are allowed to take more.

What happens if the flight cancelled and I have limited time?
It depends; mail season there will be no chance to cancelled flight. If you are traveling in Nepal in June July, January, February it may cancelled. We can manage for another day and we are feasible for itinerary. It’s matter of co-operations.

Is it possible to hire trekking and climbing equipment in Nepal?
There are lot of trekking outdoors gear shops in Thamel where you easily can buy and rent. Also we can manage that in package from our company.

What happens if I have to communicate at home while I am in trek?
There are several telephones are on the trek in popular trekking regions like Everest, Annapurna and Langtang where from you can at your home. Some places internet also available.

Are Adventure Discovery treks Company's trekking insured and well equipment?
Yes, all the staffs of our trekking company are insured and well equipment.

What type of drinking water available on the trek?
It’s always better to carry your water bottle with you on the trek. However, mineral water available with high cost.  You can also drink boiled water as well as purified drinking water.

What happens if the guide/porter leaves me alone the trail?
It is grunted that our guides and porters will never leave you alone in the trail. How ever. If you are traveling in group one staff may go ahead to find good accommodation and food for you where you stay at night.

How much is the weight limits that porters carry?
Governments rules to carry for trekking porters is 30 KG each.

What is the best season for trekking in Nepal? Which trek should I choose if I am coming Nepal in June July?
October to December and March to end May would be the best time to trek in Nepal. If you are coming Nepal in June and July the best choice would be Upper musting and Dolpo. 

What is the weather & temperature like?
We surely can’t tell you weather in mountain. It may change at any time. It will be cold at night and will be beautiful at day when sun comes out. There can be snow or rain storms any time of the year. Trekking in March – April-May, September-October and November is the best time as rhododendron and other flowers blooms and the sky will be clear.  During this months during walking time will be hot and sunny day. can be a risk between 1000m and 3500m the temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to 5 deg C low. At higher altitude, the temperature ranges from 20 deg C to -10 deg C. During winter it is around 10 deg colder.
