Buddha, An idol of peace and harmony all over the world since two millennium. King Suddhodhana and queen Maya Devi gave birth to a child called Siddhartha Gautam some 2550 years ago as a crown prince of kingdom of Kapilvastu, Lumbini. Lumbini the birth place of Buddha is greatest pilgrimage site for Buddhist around the world. It lies some 300 km southwest of Kathmandu near the border of India. There are many sign and symbol of Buddha’s childhood days still in existence around the Lumbini garden.

Along with Lumbini and surrounding area, in Kathmandu we visit Swyambhu Nath the oldest stupa in the world, which was found some 2000 years ago, Bouddha Nath the biggest stupa of the world with many Buddhist monk from Nepal and Tibet can be meet. We visit the major Buddhist places in Nepal.

Day by Day tour - Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
Arrival Kathmandu at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley
Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing includieng Pashupatinath Temple (the Hindus Holiest Shrine), Boudhanath (the 7th century Buddhist Monument) also called Khasti, visit Buddha Bihars (Monasteries). Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Bhairahawa - Lumbini
Transfer to Domestic airport to fly Bhairahawa  and drive to Lumbini. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Lumbini
Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, is situated about 22 km. from Bhairahawa (Siddharthanagar), below the Churia range, 24 km. south from the foothills of the Himalayas, on the western bank of Telar river in Rupandehi district of Lumbini zone in Nepal. It is about 300 km. west of capital city Kathmandu. Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and Nawalparasi Terai districts of Lumbini Zone are around Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, which are fertile and densely populated. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Lumbini to Pokhara
After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Pokhara
Breakfast at the Hotel followed by sight-seeing of Phewa lake- the second biggest lake in Nepal. On an island in the middle of the lake is a shrine for Goddess Barahi. Seti river - with breathtaking rush and the bridge over it. Patale Chhango( Hell's fall) known as Devi's fall and Mahendra cave- a large limestone. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Transfer to Pokhara Airport for flight to Kathmandu. And evenings join Nepali traditional cultural show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Final Departure
Transfer to Tribhuvan Intl Airport for your onward destination.
